Sunny Days

As I stated in my previous post, it's time to remove some roof snow.  Warm temperatures and sunny days will melt the roof snow and can create some leaks.  Today, for example, the temperatures were in the 40's and the sun was shinning. The colder evening/overnight temperatures will freeze the water again creating ice dams over the course of a few days. Removing the snow from the valleys on roofs will allow the ice to melt throughout the day. The old saying, "a stitch in time", still saves money and headaches.
